This is quite an abstract image. We see lines of white that are going in many different directions through the image. They almost seem like lines of light. They are actually strings that hang from the ceiling that Helen is moving and playing with. The shot was captured with a slow shutter speed. This is why the lines almost looks like beams of light, and also give a sense of movement and energy. Helen’s face is also seen in the picture, but some of it is hidden behind the strings. Because the image is slightly blurred in places, her black hair almost blends into the background. But we see glimpses of her eyes, her neck, some curls and her hand in amongst the lines of the strings.
